Tame Aggressive Water
Should people drink distilled water? For dozens of years noted health experts advised the use of distilled water as a key component of a healthy diet. Given the research and evidence available, Hallelujah Acres has also encouraged drinking plenty of distilled water.

New Findings Shed Light on Water
The nature of science is never to stop questioning. For the most part, this works to our benefit. New research is conducted, new ideas surface, new evidence comes to light, and as is often the case, the old way of thinking is proven to be, at the very least, ineffective or at worst, harmful.

In the case of distilled water, we fall somewhere in between in the research findings. Recent studies show, that while drinking low mineral water will not wreak major damage on the body immediately, over time, it can strip the body of vital minerals such as calcium, potassium and magnesium among others.

WaterMax! Max Out on Distilled Water...Safely!
Is distilled water safe to drink? Willard Water was a terrific temporary solution to re-mineralize distilled water. Now, The Hallelujah Acres Foundation has developed a new, more effective water additive – WaterMax.

After conducting extensive tests, Michael Donaldson, Ph.D., concluded that WaterMax alkalizes the water, provides essential minerals for drinking water in amounts and forms which benefit the body, and improves the hydrating ability of your water.

How WaterMax Powers up Your Water

  • WaterMax raises the ph to a nice alkaline level of 8 or higher.

  • WaterMax improves the oxidation-reduction potential (ORP). ORP measures the balance between antioxidants (with reducing ability) and oxidants. The higher the ORP the fewer antioxidants are present. WaterMax reduces the ORP from approximately 162 for distilled water down to approximately 67 - a significant improvement in the ORP.

  • WaterMax significantly improves the mineral content (measured by total dissolved solids - TDS. Distilled water has approximately 0.90 ppm, with Willards water we have approximately 97 ppm and with WaterMax we have approximately 202 ppm.
Table 1. Comparison of Water Properties.

Water pH * ORP ** TDS ***
Distilled Water 6.11 162.67 0.90
Evian (French Alps mineral water) 7.66 150.27 373.33
ConcenTrace Trace Mineral Drops 6.40 153.17 191.33
Willard Water, Formula XXX 9.45 33.63 97.13
WaterMax 8.19 67.17 202.00
WaterMax, double strength 8.74 57.20 209.00

*Highest number is best. **Lowest number is best. ***Highest number is best.

Using pH paper to test WaterMax:
WaterMax changes the pH of drinking water to pH 8.2, which is a healthy alkaline level. Testing was done with a research grade pH meter and electrode. People have tried to verify this using pH paper commonly used for testing saliva and do not see the pH shift

Mineral Source (7/10/2010)
By distilling the H2O minerals are pulled out of the H2O. Now Watermax is putting them back in. So why then distill H2O at all? My well H2O has plenty of minerals and tastes great. The minerals In WaterMax were do they come from? I destill my H2O because i did not want the inorganic minerals. Don't I get enough minerals from my food? The only problems I have with destilled H2O is that it is to acid. It is like dead food-overcooked. thank you...June,

Why so few minerals added back in? (8/11/2010)
The question that I have is why are there so few minerals added back into the water. I use WaterMax but it only adds Magnesium, Cloride, and Sodium back in, what about all the other minerals which this formula does not add in?

WORTH THE MONEY EVERY TIME (8/14/2010)
The purpose if distilling water is to remove all harmful contaminates and pathogens. While distilled water is great for detoxing and temporary consumption, over time it may have an adverse effect on the body's minerals. This is where WaterMax steps in. It re-mineralizes the water and makes it alkaline. Not to mention the water tastes better and is smoother. It also makes the water "wetter", allowing hydration to be better absorbed where it's needed the most - at the cellular level. The technology and testing that went into this product is amazing. There is no other product like it on the market.

WaterMax comment (10/28/2010)
The distilled water is acidic, but the wonderful human body turns it alkaline! If you want to take a mineral supplement, that's your choice. Eniva puts out an excellent product, excellent absorbtion rate and Christian based company in MN. Please do your own research.

Diligent research proves the benefits!!! (9/6/2011)
It is sad that reviewers like Susan and June are so quick to make statements without first doing the research necessary to fully grasp the studies that have been done proving the hazards of low/no mineral water compared to the outstanding benefits of re-mineralized distilled water. The exact amount of and types of minerals put into WaterMax has been greatly researched and proved to have the greatest benefit on our bodily systems. The product is "expensive" and can be difficult to accept its necessity; especially after spending $600 on a distiller. When you have done the research however that proves its value to your overall health than you should have no issue dropping the $ on WaterMax instead of dropping the big $$$ at the hospital. Please do the proper research before posting ignorant reviews.

Glad they dropped the price! (10/29/2011)
I used one bottle so far and it does make my distilled water taste good and smooth. I realize the importance of higher PH water, etc. I am not so sure the bottle treated 48 gallons but I am going to keep close track this time. I like it but feel it was way over priced when over $40. I can accept $32.00 better so I am buying again. (HINT HINT H Acres)
