Item Description

Enjoy the taste of good nutrition.

All-natural flavors from the berry patch create a rich, fruity taste with all the nutrition of original BarleyMax.

BarleyMax is a certified organic whole-food concentrate made from the juice of young barley grass and alfalfa. It is kept enzymatically alive with low-temperature processing that does not damage heat sensitive nutrients.

BarleyMax has a broad spectrum of naturally occurring vitamins, minerals, amino acids and trace minerals concentrated for easy absorption into the body.

What Makes BarleyMax Different?

Through a new drying process, we're able to produce a finer, yet more compact powder—while still keeping the high nutritional content you need, plus even higher levels of protein, Vitamins A and E, Folate, Zinc, Manganese and Potassium! The result is a denser powder, so you can use less per serving—only 1 level teaspoon—to get the full nutritional value!

Unlike some other barley grass products, BarleyMax contains no Maltodextrin, which is a plus for people who are sensitive to this preservative or who suffer from conditions that affect blood sugar. Our extensive studies show the superior enzymatic activity in BarleyMax does not diminish for lack of Maltodextrin.

BarleyMax is grown on certified organic farms, and contains no additives or fillers. It is a 100% pure juice powder that promotes detoxification and is a rich source of anti-oxidants.

Because of its richness in nutrients, drinking BarleyMax and freshly extracted vegetable juices will aid the body in detoxification and in the activation of its self-healing.

The Best! (5/15/2010)
I have been taking Barley Max since 8-08 and was not fond of the original taste. I have also tried the mint, but this is by far my/our favorite. My daughter would not take the original, but after a recent visit from Chet and Bev Cook in Raleigh, she has jumped on board with both feet. She loves the Berry Barley Max and carries some in her purse in case she is away. I am so thankful for Hallelujah Acres for enriching my life and feeling bette than I had for years!

Love it! (6/2/2010)
I have been taking Barley Max for about a year now and found the Berry flavor and really love it. I give it to my 16 month old son too and he can't get enough of it. He loves the flavor and it is just sweet enough for everyone. I am happy to pay a buck or two more for the flavor. It is great!

Love it! (6/14/2010)
My husband Gary and I had taken the original BarleyMax for three years, but we weren't crazy about the taste. The BarleyMax Berry is definitely worth the extra two bucks. The flavor is much improved, and since it's a Hallelujah Acres product, we know that there are no artificial additives enhancing the flavor.

Cannot take the stevia (6/29/2010)
I was so looking forward to trying this new flavor, but I neglected to examine the ingredients carefully. I actually mixed a serving with my smoothie and it was delicious; however, within 15-20 minutes, I developed a a headache, which is an ailment I never have any more since adopting the Hallelujah Diet Lifestyle. When I read the ingredients, I saw there was stevia in this product. I've known for a long time that I cannot tolerate stevia. I wish I had looked at the ingredients more carefully, but I was just so very excited about trying this berry flavor! For anyone who can tolerate stevia, however, I think they will like it!

one teaspoon does the trick (7/20/2010)
I thought I had to use a tablespoon in time but the directions actually say one teaspoon. This is great news because now I know I'm on the right track and can enjoy the other foods included in the diet without too much detox. The berry flavor is definitely a step up from the original.

What is stevia? (8/3/2010)
Can some one tell me clearly what stevia is? I have heard it is natural but I really don't know.

What is Stevia? (8/26/2010)
Stevia is a leaf from a plant in South America. It is very sweet, comes in liquid or powder. I personally do not like the liquid it has an odd taste. It's good to try different brands of powder to find the one that suits you. It is a natural product with zero calories.

Multivitamins (9/20/2010)
Is this Barley Max product considered a mulitiviamin? Or should I be taking a multivitimin from say GNC (vegan of course).

Barley Max Berry Flavor (11/15/2010)
I didn't like the original but the Berry flavored Barley Max is very tasty. I used to mix the original with juices that didn't always taste right but with the berry flavor all you need is water and it tastes great!

My favorite by far !!!! (12/30/2010)
Barley Max Berry is my favorite. I went to a seminar in July in IA that's where I live. I walked out with Reg. and waited for berry to mix it with so I would at least finish the reg that way. Mixing with mint is not the same. Berry all the way. I take it dry being in the army and carry some w/ me so I then just wash it down with water from my camel back. It works. Can't wait till my Berry gets here again inAFG.

Worth the extra $2 (3/31/2011)
I have been taking Barley Max since the day HAcres started selling it. In all these years I have never been able to get my husband or son to go near it. I finally decided to pay $2 extra to try the berry flavor hoping they might be able to tolerate it. HURRAY it worked! Both my husband (who swore that green junk would never pass his lips) and my 19 year old son are now drinking barley max every morning. I can not think of a better way to spend $2. Thank you so much for coming out with a sweetened flavored barleymax that doesn't smell like grass!

A great use for berry barleymax (7/6/2011)
I've been consuming barleymax for over 2 yrs, but the berry flavor is my favorite. I'd recently been using a plain canister of it, but now I'm glad it's gone so I can get some more berry flavored mix! My favorite use is to put 4-5 tsps. of it into my smoothies. I blend them most evenings at home, so I can take my smoothie to work the next day in a qt glass canning jar. I drink some of it at home before leaving for work each morning at 5:30. I make almost a vitamixer full of liquid, so 4-5 tsps. is not much, compared to the kale, celery or cukes, banana, fresh or frozen fruit, gr flax seed and stevia I put in the blender too. What a great way to take in excellent enzyme nutrition.

Love it! (2/18/2012)
I tried Barely Max for the first time yesterday. Wow! It tastes wonderful, and it certainly helped to regulate! I've been on a juice fast for about a week, and found this greatly increased my energy level. And it tastes great!
